FAQ's

What's your approach?

Documentary. A lot of wedding photographers throw that word around, so I'll tell you what it means to me: I work my tail off to provide the most thorough visual record of your big day I can possibly muster. Every moment -- from the most obvious to the most subtle -- is important to me; it's the only way to fully tell your all's story.

Will you travel?

Absolutely. I may be based in New England but I've shot weddings all over the US. Provided we can come to an agreement on travels costs, I'd shoot your wedding if it was on Mars.

So what's it cost?

As I say in the "Investment" section of this site, my pricing starts at $3250. But, I know there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to planning a wedding, and I know a lot of young couples are working with a fixed budget. I am willing to work with you. Please contact me for a detailed pricing sheet and to discuss costs, etc.

How long does it take to get the photos?

Typically two to three weeks, although usually the night of, or the following morning, I'll email you all a handful of images for use on social media. People seem to like that sort of thing.

How many pictures do I get?

That typically depends on the length of the shoot and other particulars, but the range is anywhere from 300 to 500. You'll receive a DVD of the print ready images, and likewise I'll upload everything to a site where you can order prints. You're not limited to that service though. If you have another vendor you prefer for prints, have at it. Hence the DVD's.

Can I get a custom album?

Some of my packages include a 10x10, leather-bound album. If you'd like something different (or in addition to) the album I provide, I'd be happy to help. Contact me for more info.

What other services do you provide?

Just about anything photographically you can think of. I even helped drive flowers to the reception hall once. I'm a nice guy and I love to help -- let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do.

What is your favorite book, album, television show and movie?

Finally getting to the good stuff!

- "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay" by Michael Chabon

- "Frank's Wild Years" by Tom Waits

- (Two-way tie) Breaking Bad and The Wire

- Too complicated an answer. We can talk about this in person if you'd like!
